Handmade Marula Oil Soap is crafted with the finest oils and essential oils. The soaps are produced to help support economic development in the small country of eSwatini, Africa. Marula oil has been used for centuries by the people groups in southern Africa as a natural skin and hair conditioner.
As part of the economic development, of the Kudvumisa Foundation, Dvumisa Creative pays local women to collect, dry and crack the marula nuts. We then buy the nuts from those in the community, providing much needed economic resources in many of the country’s poorest communities. The nuts are then pressed for the oil by other members of the community. The final process is to turn the oils into soap. The Dvumisa Creative works with caretakers of disabled individuals in the area to produce the soap and provide much needed income to their households. All the proceeds from the sale of the soaps go directly back into Kudvumisa Foundation to fund the health care clinics and to expand further in economic development.
